Fundraising
Step One: Get Started
We’re delighted that you’re interested in fundraising for Project Hope. The money you raise, however much, will support our programs and help us change the lives of the children we work with in Palestine.
There are many great ways you can get involved. The first thing you’ll want to do is set up a fundraising page with CanadaHelps. Easy and straightforward to use. You can customize your page however you like and share it with all your friends on social media. And the donations you receive will go straight to Project Hope.
Step Two: Get inspired
There are many fun ways you can raise money for Project Hope. We’ve jotted down our favorites to help you get going.
Donate Your Birthday. Celebrating a special event like a birthday or wedding? Instead of another toaster or unwanted tie, set up your own fundraising page with Canada Helps and ask your friends to donate to Project Hope.
Donate Books + Supplies. At Project Hope we're always in need of new materials for our classes. You can mail items to our Nablus office (visit Contact Us for our address), or get a group of friends together and visit our Amazon wishlists. Choose from English, French, Arts, and Teaching Tools.
Take a Challenge. From running a marathon to giving up social media for a week, setting a challenge is a great way to reward yourself and the children you support.
Host a Tea Party. Tea (with mint or sage) and sweets are very important in Palestine. In fact, Nablus, where Project Hope is based, is famous for its kenaffe, a Palestinian cheese dessert. Why not host a tea party for Project Hope, and take some donations at the door?
Tell us your ideas!
We love hearing about all the creative things fundraisers are doing to make a difference. Tell us what you’re up to, so we can publicize it in our newsletter, add it to our events feed below, offer our support, and inspire others with your success!
We Can Help
We’re always interested in supporting exhibitions, performances and talks. We have useful material, so contact us if you plan to host an event. We can provide artwork, photography and — if logistics allow — a Project Hope representative to provide your audience with some unique insight into our work and life in the West Bank.
