A little goes a long way
Any contribution, large or small, can make a difference:
- $20 will provide materials for a 6-week art class for children and youth.
- $200 buys a new camera for the photography and video classes we run in refugee camps, ensuring more students have access to this equipment.
- $500 pays for a field trip for 100 refugee students for a fun day outside the camp.
- $1000 can purchase a laptop computer for use in rural English and activities classes, typically held in community centers in villages without computers.
- $5000 supplies our volunteer teaching resource room for one year, paying for materials like books and paper that volunteers use to run English classes and arts activities serving more than 10,000 students annually.
- $10,000 is the target amount we want to reach in order to run our new local volunteer trainee program for one year. Every month, between 20 and 40 hard-working Palestinian volunteers, most of them students, help to make our classes and activities a success. With this amount, we can give these volunteers the skills and resources they need to succeed, as well as provide students with monthly pocket money for travel and other expenses, so that no local volunteer or student is ever excluded for to financial reasons.
